Legislative Summit
This annual program at the State Capitol in Sacramento is presented by the California Chamber of Commerce and showcases how the Chamber has advocated for businesses throughout the year, with an emphasis on recognizing local Chambers for their efforts in advocacy. In recent years the Bakersfield Chamber has been honored as the Cal Chamber’s Political Partner of the Year and as a President’s Circle Award winner. A delegation of Bakersfield Chamber members attends the summit each year and includes time for meetings with legislators at the Capitol on issues of particular concern and importance to the business community.
